Food has always been a big part of my life, and I have always been willing to try just about anything. It's a part of every culture in social meetings, ceremonies and festivals and varies everywhere you go. Food is the perfect way to experience a new culture to learn about their traditions and way of life. Through my blog, A Taste of Italy, will document my experiences of the Roman culture through food, and include the other cities I travel to before and after Rome. I will keep you updated with recipes, new things I may try, where the food comes from, how it is produced and anything else pertaining to food.
My second blog, The Dead of Rome, will follow our Per Corsi assignment, that we investigate and visit something within the city that sparks our interest. I know the dead of Rome may seem a little creepy, and I am pretty surprised with myself for coming up with it and following through to visit each place, but I think it will be an interesting way to learn more about the history of Rome from a completely different perspective.
Disclaimer: The previous idea, A Collection of Forks, has been scrapped due to a lack of finding forks in any of the cities I traveled to before Rome. This message will be deleted in a week.
